Currently heis working for GIZ’s Projects as a Senior Advisor for National Development Planning Agency. Has been working in transportation area for more than twenty years, mainly in transport planning, traffic engineering and management, public transport development and sustainable transport.
Previously, he has worked for a national transport consultant, Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affair special unit called KPPI, and ITDP Indonesia as a Transport Specialist. Prior to joining GIZ, he has also conducted many Government and Private transport and traffic studies.
He earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral’s Degree from Bandung Institute of Technology in 1987, 1990 and 2010 respectively and his main research interests are in Urban Public Transport and Travel Demand Management.
